To claim a part under warranty, the defective part must be shipped or mailed back to us. Once the part is received, we will ship out the replacement part. This is necessary to ensure the correct replacement part will be sent and also allows us to send the defective part back to the factory for continued product development.
Limitation of Warranty
The following parts and conditions are excluded by the warranty:
Labor costs to replace parts, shipping cost for return of defective parts or shipment of replacement parts.
Normal maintenance operations such as engine tune-up, de-carbonizing, carburetor cleaning, wheels, brakes and clutch adjustments, as well as any other normal adjustments.
Normal service wear and tear items (i.e.) brake shoes, shims/fasteners, drive chain, sprockets, clutch plates, race bearing kit, gaskets, rubber parts or plastic components, wheel rims, element air cleaner, oil filter and electrical items like bulbs, remote start/alarm systems and hoses.
If recommended engine oil/lubricants are not uses or they are not replaced at the recommended intervals or before first use.
Problems from lack ofpro fessional assembly, lack of scheduled maintenance, or consumer abuse
Any and all modifications to the vehicle will void the warranty. (Unless otherwise told by one of our techs)
Premature wear of Engine parts such as cylinder, piston, valves and bearings due to adulteration or petrol/fuel.
Parts of the vehicle getting rusted or their plating or painting coming off due to atmospheric condition like sea breeze and industrial pollutions.
Vehicle used for any competition, rallies, races. If it is used for any commercial purposes like renting, hiring, etc. Peace Power Sports undertakes no liability in the matter of any consequential loss or damage caused due to failure of the parts.
Parts of the vehicle have been subjected to misuse, accident, and neglective treatment.
Consumables like engine oil, TFF oil, grease, used for the warranty repair are not covered under the application of the warranty.
Shipping Damage: If you discover shipping damage to your unit, you must report the damage within 2 business days of receipt of the item. If damage is extensive enough to notice before the box is opened, note this on the carrier's delivery receipt before you sign it. If at all possible, take digital pictures of the damage while the unit is still in the box.
Minor cosmetic damage due to shipping (i.e. small cosmetic scratches on plastic) are not covered under our warranty and is not grounds for a return. Don't worry though, if a mirror is cracked or missing or something like that, although it is very rare that this happens, then we will definitely send you out a replacement part.
*As stated in our Return Policy.....We are not responsible for the proper or improper use of merchandise sold. We care about our customers and urge you to excercise caution and take necessary safety measures to protect yourself while engaging in riding. Green Earth Scooters encourages, begs, and asks that you wear a helmet and use appropriate lighting while riding at night regardless of the legal requirements in your particular state. Potential customer, you should check with your local law enforcement agency before purchasing, to inquire about age or legal requirements for riding in your area. We will not take back a vehicle if you find your laws do not permit the use in your area or you didn't get the correct license. Please Check First!!
Dealer shall comply with its state and local laws, regulations, and safety standards in all of dealer’s conduct, including without limitation those of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, and regulatory agencies necessary for the sale of the products under the terms of this agreement. Dealer shall provide compliance verification to Peace Power Sports, Inc.
Dealer agrees to comply with and operate consistently with all applicable provisions of ATV Safety Improvement Act of 2008, ANSI/SVIA 1-2007 of the standard for ATV’s (“The ATV standards”)
Age Recommendation
Dealer will only recommend, market, advertise and sell ATVs for use under the age category/speed guidelines specified at section 6 of the ATV Standard. Dealer will not recommend, market, advertise or sell adult-sized ATVs for the use of persons less than 16 years of age. Dealer will use its best efforts to ensure that its dealers comply with these requirements.
Dealer Monitoring
Dealer agrees with Distributor’s Dealer Monitoring system. Distributor will take corrective action against non-complying dealers, including possible termination for repeat violations.
Safety Training
a .Distributor will require that all of its authorized dealers offer ATV purchasers and members of the ATV purchaser’s immediate family, the opportunity to register for free hands on ATV training through the ATV Safety Institute (“ASI”) at the time of purchase.
b. Information about the ASI course and “How to Register?” can also be found on hang tags and safety alert videos, in owner’s manual and advertisements and by calling the toll-free hotline.
